The real Duolingo English Test is 60 minutes, adaptive, and scored from 10 to 160 with 8 subscores (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, plus Literacy, Comprehension, Conversation, and Production). No paper or practice test can reproduce an official adaptive score, because the real test adjusts difficulty in real time based on your answers. This practice test gives you experience with every question type and format, but your real DET score will depend on the adaptive difficulty you encounter on test day.
